EGF was honoured with two awards at the 5th edition of the National Sustainability Awards, promoted by Jornal de Negócios. This recognition highlights the work of all the companies in the group, including ALGAR, and the daily commitment of more than 3,000 employees across the country.

The distinction was awarded in the categories of Sustainability Communication, with the Toneladas de Ajuda (Tons of Help) campaign, and Digital Transformation in Sustainability, with the Selective Packaging Collection Digitisation Programme.

These awards reflect the EGF Group's commitment to innovation, operational efficiency and social responsibility, recognising initiatives that promote recycling, support social institutions and use technology to provide a better service to the population.

The award ceremony took place on 8 May and was attended by several public and private entities, reinforcing the role of EGF companies as agents of positive transformation for a more sustainable future.
